The Region of Western Macedonia strengthens the Agri-Food Wealth of the region by supporting local businesses

Eleven entrepreneurs from 8 foreign countries who are active in the agri-food industry, visited the Region of western Macedonia. The business-buyers with a clear interest in entering into partnerships, came into contact with approximately 30 businesses in our Region.

As part of the targeted meetings, many different events took place, such as visits to the production facilities of the products, tastings based on local recipes, while the high standards of the agri-food wealth were presented in an appropriately designed room of the Pantelidis hotel.

The development of this initiative was carried out by the Chamber of Kozani, on the one hand giving a note of optimism and vision to local businesses and on the other hand providing the possibility for the Regional Authority to plan actions related to the agri-food wealth of the region.

The Deputy Governor of Green Transformation, Entrepreneurship and Transport, Ephrosyne Dio, regarding the International Forum of Agri-Food Products of the Prefecture of Kozani, emphasized that "with the dedication and consistency of the agencies and the Regional Authority, the participation, passion and organization of the exhibitors, we can give added value to our products. At the same time, the comparative advantages in the field of Agri-Food, enable companies to produce competitive, very good quality and exportable products. The increase in the extroversion of businesses and actions to promote local products contribute decisively to the stimulation of entrepreneurship".
