Krokos Kozani (A.SYN.KRO.KO)

The Compulsory Cooperative of Saffron Producers of Kozani was founded in 1971
It consists of 1,000 members and has the exclusive right to collect, package and distribute the Kozani saffron.

The establishment of the Cooperative created a body that has the overall responsibility of gathering, processing, standardizing and disposing of the product, so as to ensure its quality and avoid the adulteration that was done in the past, by the traders, resulting in the degradation and negative image of the product.
