A new 85-acre vineyard was created next to the lake, where an old family vineyard stood. Designed to produce wines of high quality and distinctive character, it was planted with local and other varieties during 1991-1994.

The Vogiatzis family traces a long history in the wine trade, which begins at the beginning of the 20th century. The members of the third generation of the family, Giannis, who first studied chemistry at the Aristotle University and then oenology at the University of Bordeaux in France and has significant experience in Greek wine production, together with his brother, Nikos, guarantee the course of the effort of this in the future
