Belidis

The Belidis family has been producing wines from their vineyards for 5 generations, continuing the tradition with sensitivity. The beginnings of the tradition start from Nihori in Constantinople, where there were well-known winemakers with the alias ¨Belias¨ which also named their wines. Today's establishment of our company Belidou Eleni k SIA OE. it is family-run and produces organic grapes. Starting timidly, it was founded in 2004 and since then has been continuously expanding its market in Greece and abroad.

We cultivate our privately owned vineyards, covering an area of 130 acres, on the sunny mountain slopes of the lakeside area of Vathylakos, Imero and Roditis, Kozani at an altitude of 350-450m. In them one can find the French varieties Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay as well as the Greek Roditis, Bulgariko, Moschomavro, Tsaburnakos, Vergiotiko, Xinomavro.
Our company has the most modern machines of the latest type due to its young establishment.

Our state-of-the-art privately owned winery-distillery, with a capacity of 3500 sq.m., is located in the area of Melissia Kozani. The wine is aged in barrels of French origin (Ermitage, Bertomieu) following the most modern methods, respecting the customs and traditions of our country and our family tradition.
